Angang Subsidiary Enterprise Company (ASEC for short), founded in 1981, has grown into a business group after many years of development, continuous introduction of advanced technology both from at home and abroad, energetic launching of self innovation, enhanced development of new products, realignment of product mix, and increased input for technical innovation. Our main service object is in iron and steel sectors. We are also dealing in the preparation and manufacture of heavy-duty metallurgical equipment and installations, repairing and manufacturing the critical metallurgical spare parts, rolling of steel products, and the design and erection of steel structures, covering many industries, such as metallurgical machinery, foundry, rolling of steel products, chemicals, and construction. The annual sales revenue is over 3 billion yuan. Main products: 1. Castings We can produce 35000MTs of castings and 3000MTs of alloy grate bars for sintering machines per year. 2. Copper plates for continuous cast molds The capacity of production can meet the needs of electroplated copper plates used in the production of continuous cast steel slabs with annual output of 80 million metric tons. 3. Caster rolls and flux-cored wires We are skillful in providing built-up welding services for repairing caster rolls and various shaped pieces and manufacturing new rolls and flux-cored wires with different sizes and compositions. 4. Metallurgical wagons and liquid steel (hot metal) ladles We can produce 600 sets of wagons, weighing more than 10000MTs per year, and liquid steel (hot metal) ladles in various sizes. 5. Belt conveyors We are a specialized maker of belt conveyors and a complete set of products, and the production value is up to 200 million yuan. 6. Lightweight steel structure We can design, make, and erect 1.5 million square meters of profiled color-coated sheets and can fabricate over 100,000 tons of H-beam, C-beam and Z-beam steel structures per year. 7. Packing materials We can annually produce about 15,000MTs of packing bands in various sizes and strengths, such as blued, galvanized or painted types , and make protection corners, fasteners, and various sizes and types of packing materials for cold-rolled coils and sheets. 8. Metal products The annual capacity is 40,000MTs, in 20 varieties, mainly including 25-meter steel rail bogies with 6 braces, 100-meter and 500-meter rail pillow block bearings, motor punched sheets, safety door chains, cold rolled (drawn) seamless steel pipes, and washers. We have advanced production lines for manufacturing various sizes of flexible hoses, and metal parts (joints) and accessories of hydraulic pipelines. 9. Fine chemical products The annual capacity of our company is 12,000 MTs of solid water reducing agents of the naphthalene family and 6000MTs of water reducing agents of fat family. We can also produce over 6000MT of more than 10 kinds of water treatment chemicals, such as water stabilizers. 10. Coal chemicals We have one production line for processing of 100,000 MTs of coal tar and one production line of 80,000 MTs of fuel oil per year. We have more than 20 varieties of coal chemicals, such as coal tar series, washing oil series, pitch series. 11. Labor protection appliances We can produce 6 categories of 280 varieties of articles for labor protection, including work clothes, gloves, safety shoes, safety netting and belts, safety helmets and others. They are widely sold in domestic and foreign markets. 12. Smelting flux, cored wires and refractory We can make smelting flux products, eg. LF furnace premelting slag, and alloy-cored wire, and also mold slag for continuous casting machine. The alloy-cored wires are of 32 types, including Si-Ca, Al-Ca, and Ti-Fe.
