Allstar Electronics is an independent stocking distributor of electronic components. We are a privately held corporation that was formed in the fall of 1994 in the state of New York. The management of the company has over 75 years combined experience in the electronic industry.Allstar prides itself on being able to supply our customers with product upon which they have difficulty finding due to allocation, long lead times or being obsolete. When factory direct can not help, Allstar can. Allstar is able to find these products through our vast network of OEMs and Distributors that we have been working with and cultivating for over 20 years. Allstar has capital reserves in excess of 20 million dollars, enabling us to finance any deal, usually paying in advance for the product, and then extending terms to our customers for said product. Financially Allstar has the assets and abilities of a much larger distributor. Allstars small core management allows us to react quickly and decisively to trends or opportunities in the electronics market place, and buy product on speculation when our analysis indicates lead times and shortages may occur in a certain type of product. Such was the case in the year 2000 during the Worldwide Tantalum Capacitor Shortage. At one point, Allstar purchased and had 20 million dollars worth of tantalum capacitors in our stock. A similar situation on a smaller scale arose in the beginning of 2004 with allocation and long lead times of flash memory. Allstar is very aggressive with concern to helping with any excess inventory you may have, either by purchasing it, or taking it on consignment, or just listing it, and selling it for you.Allstar can provide value added services such as tape and reeling, part testing, dry packing, baking, kitting, shelving product for scheduled deliveries, bar-coding and labeling of all containers for delivery as per each customers specification. Allstar is a founding member of the Electronic Resellers Association (ERAI). We are also ISO 9001-2008 compliant. Allstar has a very strict quality control system. All product that comes in and goes out is visually inspected and digitally photographed, and all individual date and lot codes are logged and entered. In addition, all ESD procedures and protocols are closely followed, with all product dry packed in ESD packaging and labeled and bar coded to each customers specification. Our Quality control Director and his staff are well trained in ESD procedures and protocol, and are constantly updating and familiarizing themselves to all new procedures and practices for ESD compliance.Counterfeit prevention is a top priority for the whole QC department. As such, Allstar does not procure any product from China, or that may have been purchased from China. We also only procure product from sources that we have been doing business with for a number of years. Fortunately, because of our strict QC, Allstar has never had an issue with counterfeit product. Allstar guarantees all product it sells is new and original, and obviously would issue full credit should such a situation arise. However, because of due diligence, we have been able to avoid such situations.
