Anhui Tongfeng Electronics Co., Ltd. is the leader of specialized manufacturing film capacitors and capacitor films. Beginning in 1975, 1983 and 1989, the company has over 30, 25 and about 20 years history of manufacturing capacitor, metalized film and Bopp film for capacitor respectively. Tong Feng is the domestic unique company with a-complete-line production pattern of capacitor film-metalized film-film capacitors as well as the China's research, development and manufacture base for Electrical Trio Films (Capacitor film, Metalized film and Film capacitor) denominated by the former Electronics Industry Ministry. The yearly output of Bopp capacitor film amounts to 12,000 tons covering 22.5% of total domestic output ranking the first in China, the second in Asia and the third worldwide. The yearly output of Bopet (polyester) capacitor film amounts to 3,000 tons. The productivity of metalized film is 4,000 tons per annum ranking also the first domestically; AC capacitor output is 160,000 pieces daily, also tops the list in China; DC capacitor output is 0.9 billion yearly, is also high on the rank of this industry in China. In 2002, the company had developed Power Electronics Capacitors such traction power capacitor successfully. From that time, the output of power electronics capacitor has been increasing year by year. In 2009, the output of power electronics capacitor was 15,000 and now the company has productivity of 20,000 yearly for power electronics capacitor. The company also produces series of Artificial Crystalloid Materials and Crystalloid Frequency Elements. The annual productivity is 600 tons of artificial crystalloid and 0.2 billion pieces of diversified crystalloid frequency element products. In the course of products industrialization, a strict quality management and secure system has been established accordingly.
