Avenir Biotechnologies, Inc. (ABI) is a USA biologics company established in 2000. In affiliation with the University of California Davis campus, we are focused on developing new products and technology innovations and on commercialization of 1) novel food-based dietary supplements and functional food additives, 2) natural fruit powders, juices, purees and ice cream based products, 3) food borne pathogen diagnostic kits. Together with a subsidiary company in Hong Kong, Avenir Genetic Technologies (Asia Pacific) Co Ltd, ABI has developed strategic business alliance with key ingredient suppliers and contract manufacturers in USA, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, China and Hong Kong. ABI launched the SPIRULINA 100% in the fall of 2004. We have successfully penetrated the highly competitive food processing market in Hong Kong with the supply of deep sea Spirulina 100% powder for the manufacturing of a new line of health enhancement milk product to a leading dairy company. This product is a pure form of dried Spirulina obtained from a proprietary process. The success in Spirulina 100% powder marketing enables ABI to becoming the preferred supplier of specialty food additive materials in Hong Kong. We are now engaged in a few projects utilizing BILBERRY, BIO-GABA and NATURAL FRUIT BASE and offered to different Health & Beauty and Dairy companies in the region. These products will be attractive to a wide range of consumers who either have clinical symptoms or have a strong desire to maintain good health through health supplements. These are patented microbial and chemical analysis technology that replaces traditional selective agar media assay. It is an economical laboratory tool with laboratory space and cost per test saving benefits. ABI's business philosophy is to provide health enhancement products and the economic and rapid diagnostic products to our customers on a global basis. We will dedicate our direct sales and marketing resources in USA and Hong Kong while partnering with local business in Asia Pacific, Europe and Middle East in order to expand the market share.
