The firm Iannarilli Ferruccio is certified carrying out organic agriculture by the Mediterranean Institute for Certification. Our extra-virgin olive oil is produced solely from own olive trees cultivated in the Umbrian hills of San Bartolomeo (Terni) ; the olives are handpicked and milled within hours of being picked in own ecological mill. Needless to say that the olives are carefully selected and harvested between October and December. The outcome is a shiny green colour with a fresh, fruity and delicate aroma. Our product is bottled only after accurate chemical analyses, preserving the fragrance and the taste of Umbrian olive oil. Olive varietals cultivated: Moraiolo (80% ) Frantoio and Leccino (20% ) Certification: - HACCP - ORGANIC FARM-CEE 2092-91 by Mediterranean Institute for Certification. All our production is certified from organic farming and NOP (organic for USA) since November 2006 under the supervision of the Mediterranean Institute for Certification ( accredited from USDA) . - N. O. P. National Organic Program (USA) - TRACEABILITY ISO 22005 by Mediterranean Istitute for Certification. To guarantee the origin and authenticity of our product directly from our own olive grove in San Bartolomeo, all the olive oil production is offered with the certification of traceability. The traceability refers to the whole range of production, from olive growing to bottling, included the critical intermediate stage of pressing. - DOP UMBRIA ASSISI-SPOLETO HILLS by Office of the Agricultural and Forest Politics Protected Designation of Origin called DOP Umbria Assisi-Spoleto Hills. Our olive grove has been approved Dop Umbria since February 2000 with the certificate of registration n. 814. - Cold Extraction Certification (below 27 C) by U. R. F. Perugia
