Flora Danica SA. is an argentine company that has been manufacturing high-quality food products for more than 65 years. The company produces, markets and distributes margarines, mayonnaises, dressings, pastry for empanadas and pies, and several supplies for the bakery industries. Our plants are certified by the Bureau Veritas Quality international under the HACCP quality system. Our nutriSystem is a nutrition system characterized by having no trans fats, being cholesterol-free and enriched with essential nutrients and vitamins that are good for the body. Trans fats are a type of fats that are produced when the vegetal oil undergoes a process of partial hydrogenation. These are considered harmful for your health because they raise total cholesterol and lower the HDL, thus contributing to the appearance of cardiovascular disease. Trans fatty acids are commonly found in ingredients used for bakery products, fried food, cheese, meat and butter. Danica margarines do not have partial hydrogenated vegetal oil.
