Sunyard was founded in 1996. It is one of the Backbone Enterprises of China Torch Program and is ranked among the top 10 software companies in Zhejiang Province. With its products widely used in the financial, securities and insurance sectors in China, the company has become a nationally renowned developer and supplier of financial and securities software. In November of 2002, Sunyard was successfully listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. As of 2004, our company had been awarded two Chinese patents and two National Scientific and Technological Progress Awards. Two of our products are recognized by the state as new key products. Sunyard has also taken on four projects from the China Torch Plan, including document imaging, call center, business e-Banking, and payment encryption systems. Sunyard has close to 700 employees, 75% of whom have a bachelor degree or above.
