In the center of the most developed Yangtze River Delta and Shanghai Economic Cooperation District, there is a beautiful city named Liyang. Liyang is a city which boasts beautiful scenery with delicate mountains and waters. Jiangsu Kaili Carpet Co., Ltd. is located in this wonderful land. Since establishment in 1994, Kaili has grown from a small factory producing carpet materials to an enterprise specializing in the design, research, production, distribution and service of carpets and related materials after more than 10 years' development. Presently, our company has more than 1000 employees working in four factories. These four factories are responsible for producing different sorts of carpets. In the five years since 2001, our enterprise has successfully increased annual output value from around RMB20 million to RMB0.4 billion through transforming mechanism, strengthening interior management and exploring enterprise potentials. Our scale, output and sales volume have kept a leading place in Chinese carpet industry. The output and sales volume of woven carpets have been ranked two and four in the whole country. In order to ensure enterprise's competitiveness, most machinery of Kaili is imported from overseas countries. Now the annual production capacity of bulk continuous filament of our factory is up to 15,000 tons, including 5000 tons of six-color even network filament, 8000 tons of three-color BCF, and 2000 tons of single color BCF. Moreover, the fiber can be endowed with characteristics of anti-aging, ultraviolet resistant, anti-bacterial and flame-retardant features through nanotechnology. The annual output of Wilton Jacquard carpets is 9,000,000 square meters. The annual production capacity of different kinds of tufted carpets is 15,000,000 square meters. Last but not the least, we have an twist and heat-set production line with an annual processing capacity of 65,000,000 tons, which can produce all kinds of tight twist yarns, curl yarns, network yarns and wool & nylon yarns. Kaili attaches great importance to innovation. We continuously develop new products with high technology. The newly-developed Wilton super-long plush rugs, coarse BCF sisal-like outdoor rugs, Wilton middle and high density silk carpets, Wilton flat woven carpets, wool cut-loop pile rugs and light-weight rayon rugs are all sold well both in China and abroad. Pile length of Wilton super-long plush rugs developed independently by Kaili can reach 40mm. At present, our sales network spreads throughout provinces and cities in China. Our products have been exported to overseas markets, including Korea, Japan, the USA, Canada and Australia. Japanese AIC Inc. and American MOHAWK are all our customers.
