Project sales corp started its operations in may 2000 with the objective of promoting and selling value added maintenance products that can help industries extend equipment life and reduce downtime. The first product and still our key product range that we sell to over 60 key industries large and small in ap and orissa was molykote specialty lubricants and maintenance products. We later decided to add products which have a sound pedigree quality backed by service from manufacturers reps and having a very positive image in the customers mind. The contribution the product could make to the industry in terms of their potential to reduce downtime and minimize failures were also considered. Thus was added hylomar universal blue gasket and jointing compound and stag jointing pastes, products of marston domsel gmbh and kommerling, UK respectively. This gave us the opportunity to focus our efforts towards power plants and today power plants represent over 50 percent of our total customer base. To ensure we continued to give the best of service to the existing customer base, we stopped looking at new clients, but focused on our efforts to study other products and solutions that would be required by our customers. This made us add some specialty maintenance products and some general purpose use products that were regularly required in the industry. Some of these additions were lps cleaners and degreasers, magnaflux ndt chemicals and accessories and devcon metal repair putties from itw India limited, general purpose m-seal epoxies from pidilite, recoil thread repair kits from lps, wd-40, rustolene, and holdtite from hardcastle and waud mfg. Co., and the best hand tools from snap-on, USA. As we look back today, what was once a one-man show, combined with the operations of Nokia priority dealer and care centre, project sales corp is today is an organization of over 15 people, many of them technically trained to provide specialized usage support services on our products.
