In our sawmill, everything that is not good for our FingerJoint factory is transformed in others value-added products, like deckboards and stringers for pallets. The residues from the Fingerjoint factory are transformed into densified firelogs (briquettes) or the shavings can be used for animal beddings also.Why Aspen? This is a specie which is very abundant in our area and it offers bteer quality than Aspen found elsewhere in North America. It is more dense (450Kg/m3 or 28,1 Lb/ft3, similar to Yellow Poplar), more white in color also with less stain. It can replace Eastern White Pine in many applications, as well as Yellow Poplar and as in many Pine species.In the Fingerjoint factory, we can offer S4S service, as well as Edge-Gluing (EG) and Face-Gluing (FG). We can sort different solid lenghts by request. We can do from select to knotty, dependly of customer request.In the sawmill, we can do Pallet stock to the dimensions you want. Standards for deckboards are 40in (1016mm), but we can adjust up to 48in (1220mm) and with no minimum lenght. We can do the width you want (standards are 3,5in (90mm) and 5,5in (140mm)) and the thickness you want. We keep standards dimensions in stock but we can change our production by any request.We have very versatile equipment and very good employees to fill most of the request we can get.
