Company's History Sichuan Hengwei Piston Ring Co., Ltd. (HWPR for short) is a key enterprise specializing in producing all kinds of piston rings of engines. Our company was reformed from Sichuan Luzhou Transportation Machinery Plant in September, 2003. Location and Transportation Our company is located in the beautiful Luzhou City, with attractive and bright scenery, pleasant climate, and good social regulation. Luzhou City has won honorable titles of National Sanitation City, Cultural City and Excellent Model City, and is at the junction between the Yangtze River and Tuojiang River. The transportation is very convenient. Luzhou has convenient expressway, railway, water road, and air transportation as well as advanced logistics. The wharf in Luzhou has been commented as national-class wharf. Our factory is located in Lu County Industry District, which is next to Chen-Yu Expressway. We are 230km to Chengdu, 140km to Chongqing, 33km to Luzhou Airport and 39km to Luzhou Container Port. The Introduction of Company HWPR is made up of key workers from former company and is specialized in researching, producing and selling piston rings. Our company has been evaluated as high-tech enterprise by Luzhou Government. Our company is the only professional piston ring enterprise in Sichuan Province and one of the biggest auto spare part manufacturers in Western China. There are 356 staff members in our company including 61 professionals in the design and production of piston rings. Our company covers an area of 67.8acres including a plant area of 13acres. Our modernized workshop covers an area of 1800 square meters and office building covers an area of 1749 square meters. Worker housing and culture facilities cover an area of 1100 square meters. Our landscaping construction and public equipment have achieved national level. Meanwhile, our hardware equipment is relatively advanced compared with other companies. HWPR has a professional and cultivated team. We attach great importance to the cultivation, education and training of staff to keep pace with modernized market. After experiencing more than 50 years of development, we have already had advanced, mature and complete production lines in making piston rings, such as casting, heating processing, grinding, processing, surface treatment, inspecting, packing, molding, and repairing. We have advanced techniques, as well as over 700 sets of high precision processing equipment and measuring instruments from Japan and Switzerland. We keep creating and improving to cater for customers' demands. Our quality management system is in conformity with ISO19001:2000 and ISO/TS16949 standards. Adopting the newest Goetz technology of Germany, our Mo-spraying is more advanced compared with the peer. We widely use Ti-plating, molybdenum spraying, ceramic diffusion, and plasma technologies. Various piston rings with diameters of 27~200mm in diesel engines can be made. Our annual output is 20,000,000 sets. HWPR, one of the members of China Automobile Industry Association, plays a significant role in domestic engine parts industry. The brand of HWPR has been granted honors by city, province and nation for many times. In addition, our company has been awarded the Top Ten Brands of Piston Ring of China and Excellent Brand of China. Marketing Our company has three strong markets: machine sales market, maintenance market and foreign trade market.
