Since our establishment in 1977, Silverlit Toy was committed to our core business of designing and manufacturing innovative and high quality toys for kids of all ages. Our integrated operation including R&D in product design, tooling, engineering and production accommodated in our 70,000-square-meter factory with over 3,000 workers at Dongguan, China. During these 30 years, Silverlit was the first ISO9001 certificate holder in Asia. In 2006, Silverlit was accredited by ITS laboratory to comply with ICTI Code of Business Practices. Apart from putting its R&D effort to develop many "original" award-wining products (e.g. UFO awarded as "Winner of Innovation 2005 at Nuremberg Toy Fair", XTwin nominated as "Toy of the Yer" at Voor Speelgoed Van Het Haar 2006, Amsterdam & etc. Silverlit also handles selectively value-added and high quality OEM/ODM products. In order to provide excellent and convenient services to our customers, Silverlit has set up branches all over the world, Germany, France, Scandinavian, the United Kingdom, the USA and Benelux. 30 years in business may seem normal in certain industries such as steel manufacturing or the automobile industry. Yet, in other business, such as the IT field, 30 years of business seems out of the ordinary. For the toys business, surviving and growing is the constant course of action and to do so for 30 years is no small achievement. Although many other quality toy companies are thriving, the fact remains that countless others, both younger and older, have fallen, especially in the past few years. This is attributed to the rising challenges that every toy company endures each year. Years ago, the declining birth rate, shrinking retail channels and price competition were some of the biggest opposition but recently new obstacles have emerged. With the sharp spike of energy and material costs, the shortage of labor and, finally, the rampant violation of intellectual property rights by many Shantou factories, toy companies have to reinvent the way they do business. Different companies have different ways to deal with these predicaments. At Silverlit, we never wavered from the guiding principle of innovation. When Silverlit began in the 70's, we launched the first Press-n-Go smart gear mechanism. We continue to incorporate innovative elements in our products-hardware, software, play features or outlook. We care constantly drive to find new endeavors for our customer and we have never abandoned the commitment to develop a better product "the next time". In 2006, our PicooZ mini helicopter became an instant success. The PicooZ personifies the consumer's desire for great fun for a great value, the perfect example of our dedication to bring more affordable high-tech products to the consumers in 2007 and the next 30 years.
