Swanson Associates has been in business since 1948, as one of the pioneering companies of model aviation. We have long been known as the manufacturer of the Fireball Glow Plug (in 5 distinct types) for use in R/C and Control-line flying, boating, & gas-powered cars. We have also produced a variety of igniters for scientific instruments (flame photometric and flame ionisation devices), and for flight simulators for the aviation industry and U.S. government.
