About Vinamit Product : Vinamit, a strong trademark of Vietnamese farm produceDried fruits bearing Vinamit trademark of the TM Vina Mit Ltd. Co. (Vinamit) in southern Binh Duong province are now dominant in the domestic market with a 90 percent market share and have also found their niche in many foreign markets. Vinamit is the first company in the country to apply the vacuum drying processing technology, which preserves the fruits' original taste, colour and aroma, a reason making its products popular. In addition to a sales system covering all 64 provinces and cities nationwide, the company has annually exported 65 percent of its products to China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, America, and Japan. Vinamit products have also entered European and northern American markets which demand high quality of import products. The company's annual turnover increased from 19 billion VND in 2000 to 61 billion VND in 2004 and is expected to reach 150 billion VND this year. Another reason behind Vinamit's constant growth is its effort to secure material supply. Since its inception in 1990, the company has invested in building a material production area covering more than 10, 000 ha in Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc provinces. Vinamit provided farmers with new plant varieties and signed contracts to buy the harvests from them. The company now has 500 materials suppliers, which employ thousands of workers, helping alleviate poverty in the localities. The company has also cooperated with agricultural colleges nationwide to produce new varieties for high quality and high yield. This year Vinamit has started building another materials area of more than 10, 000 ha in the Central Highlands province of Dac Lac. Vinamit General Director Vien said he hoped to help build an outstanding image of Viet Nam's farm produce in the world market through the high quality, health value, deliciousness and attractive packaging of his products.
