Foundations of Tanriverdi Holding were laid in 1904 with the initiation of textile retail store activities by the Tanriverdi Family. Tanriverdi Mensucat A. S. was incorporated in 1970 for the wholesale and retail sales of home textile products. Construction of the Group s first plant at Catalca was completed in 1986, and guipure, brocade and applique production initiated. 12 new production facilities have been set up since 1986, on the basis of companies established one after another and major investments. With the inclusion of yarn spinning, weaving, yarn dyeing, fabric dyeing and finishing, ready made curtain, and chemical products in the chain, the Tanriverdi Group has positioned itself among the world s leading integrated curtain manufacturers. All the companies were assembled under the roof of Tanriverdi Holding in 1995.
