The Trisakti Raksana Company is a state-owned company and one of the early-established refrigerator manufacturers in Indonesia. Being an export-oriented company, it has supplied thousands of refrigerators, freezers, wine coolers and coffee maker to the world since late 1992. As soon as it had won domestic reputation, Trisakti started to export its products in 1993. The international trade soon became a big business. With about 80% of its products exported, Trisakti has been ranked the NO. 1 exporter of refrigerators of Indonesia for 10 years. The product categories of Trisakti include not only compact refrigerator, compact freezer, direct cooling refrigerator-freezer and frost free refrigerator-freezer, which are well known to customers, but also newly developed wine cooler and beverage cooler, leading the living trend of people. There are nearly a hundred different models / specifications of products available for choice. All products are manufactured in compliance with international standards. Based on the market situation, they are respectively evaluated and certified by major certification bodies in the world, say, UL, CSA, CB, CE, JQA, SAA, SASO, SABS, SII and so on. The requirements of energy consumption, sanitary and environmental regulations are also met, including the CFC phasing-out programs that are nowadays most concerned in the world. Foaming agent c-pentane and refrigerants R134a or R600a are adopted according to the regulations and market requirement. Most products of Trisakti are exported to North America and Europe, and some to other markets of the world as well. The major business partners of Trisakti include some famous international chain stores and appliance companies. Trisakti is nominated by the Foreign Economic & Trade Ministry and Science & Technology Ministry as one of the important 100 tech-product export businesses of Indonesia. Trisakti is dedicated to quality improving. Its Quality Management System has been periodically assessed by Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI) since 1995 and the newly updated certificate was issued based on the requirements of ISO 9001: 2000. To keep the pace with internationally advanced management developing, six-sigma and other management methods are introduced in recent years and they work well in the company.
