1. Chip-type Dissipative Muffler is that the Tube-type Resistive Muffler adds some sound-absorbing slice. It is applicable to large cross section of duct and large air flow. It divides the straight tube into several small channels, and sound-absorbing slice is straight type, sound-absorbing material is the same as the tube-type resistive muffler. It is suitable airflow velocity of 4~8m/s, no more than 12m/s, low resistance loss, resistance coefficient ζ≤0.8.

3. The slice spacing should be 100~200mm. Over-width, bad silencing effect of high frequency. Over-narrow, large resistance of airflow. The slice thickness should be 25~120mm according to the frequency feature of noise source. It can be used with unit-section, as well multi-sections, but no more than 3m.
