Materials of barbed wire

Barbed wire can be manufactured from various material, different materials of barbed wires have their own characters, you should choose the suitable materials according to your specified application and using environments.

• Galvanized barbed wire. Galvanized steel wire material is the most widely used type in not only the barbed wire production, but various wire mesh fence panels production. It can supply excellent corrosion and rust resistance performance to be used in the high corrosive and other harsh environments. It can be divided into different types according to different standard.

• Zinc-aluminum barbed wire. This type alloy wire mainly contains zinc and aluminum element. According to different composition, it has 5% aluminum-zinc alloy wire, which is known as the Galfan wire and 10% aluminum-zinc alloy wire. Compared with traditional galvanized wire, it can supply double to triple times corrosion resistance performance. It is more and more widely used in the barbed wire productions.
• PVC/PE coated barbed wire. Low carbon steel wire or galvanized steel wire are attached with PVC or PE forming the PVC/PE coated wire. The PVC coated steel wire can also supply excellent corrosion and rust resistance performance, especially the PVC coated steel wire with galvanized inner wire, which can supply double protection for the barbed wire. The PVC coated barbed wire can be made into various colors to decorate the sites and blend with surrounding environments. The most widely used color is green, we can also customize any colors based on the RAL colors and your requirements.
• Stainless steel barbed wire. As we all known, the stainless steel is the most durable material among all the steel wires. It has best corrosion and rust resistance and good chemical and physical properties to be used in various applications. It is suitable for the applications, where needs high grade corrosion resistance requirements and beautiful and bright surface.
