10” pp sediment filter usually use the first stage for the home ro water filter. It removes Heavy Sediment , Rust, Dirt , Particles and impurities from the water.

Description:

· Inserted inside a standard universal 10" housing pod. (housings also available)

· Used for all types of sediment filtration , very popularly used as stage 1 filtration (or 2 if using a 5micron prior to it)

· This is a 1micron spun cartridge (the lower the micron rating, the finer the sediment removal , therefore use either on its own as stage 1 or alone OR if using a series of these filters then start with the highest micron rating in stage 1 of the filtering and then go down to a lower micron rating. Continue going to a lower micron as you require.

· Used to filter hard well water (on many occasions before a water softener or water treatment System) , or filtration protection prior to an Aquarium or water feature were sediment filtration is required.
(Also used on some reverse osmosis systems)
