The word CE approval is not correct, as the CE mark is not an “approval” to market your product. Rather, it is a symbol affixed to your product labeling to indicate that it does in fact meet the requirements of the applicable European Directive(s).

Here I\'ll introduce these two cncepts for everyone.

CE-marking:

A vast majority of the products sold in Europe must meet product safety requirements. To demonstrate that a product is safe for the user, CE-marking is required.

CE-marking indicates that the product has been tested and deemed safe to be placed on the European market.

CE approval:

Every product placed in the EEA (European Economical area) covered by the principles of the New Approach Directive must bear the CE-marking. However, a product may not be CE marked, if it is not covered by a directive providing for its affixing.

To get the CE-marking, you must do the CE Approval first.So CE approval is a test process.
