What is activated bleaching earth ?

Activited bleaching earth is also called activited clay,activited fuller earth is a fine,light color powder with a highly porous inner structure and a numbers of acid sites on its surface.

It mainly used for refining of vegetable oils and minerals oils, and hardened fats,and ects, and well suitable for remove of polar compounds like chlorophyll, carotinoids, phospholipids, peroxides ,impurities etc by chemisorption/physical adsorption and acid catalysis.

activated bentonite bleaching earth clay could be used in almost all kinds of vegetable oil and industrial oil refinery,like soya oil,palm oil,corn oil,sunflower oil,coconut oil,cotton seed oil,peanut oil,used cooking oil,motor oil etc

Method of sample test:

1) take 100ml oil,weighing about 15g A-HH-1A activated bleaching earth clay,adding slowly by spoon and stiring,fully precipitation,until reaching for treatment of oil requirements,finally draw dosage.

2) put into production,right amount of white earth into large container,and then press the front of the proportion to the oil that include uniform mixing(when necessary add heating kettle,heat diluted in about 30 minutes or so)

3) wait for after cooling precipitation,filter press with pressure filter.

Note:
The activated clay began to lose gesso when temperature above 300,make the structure change of decolorization have influence.

The surface is very easy absorption of moisture,the water is high also influence decoloring effect ,

and the catalytic performance.Pay attention to prevent rain,moist,should be stored in ventilated dry place

Result

a) After purification, the acidic value not rebounding, color not reversing. Clean and pure with stable quality and expend working life.

b) Mostly suitable for mineral oil, vegetable oils, animal’s fats etc.

c) Highly absorption ability, bleaching ability and filtration rate, with lower oil retention and additive volume.

d) Efficiently removing the phosphatide, soap and tiny metal ions in oil or fats, to be the natural anti-oxidant agent.

e) Removing the Aflatoxin, pesticide residues etc toxin and tainting substance away from oil.
