Ethylene offers several special Flexijoint and Flexarmor expansion joint configurations including:
Universal Expansion Joints
These units combine two Flexijoints with an intermediate PTFE lined spool piece: lateral movements are maximized to provide low spring rates; critical when mating to stress-sensitive graphite, FRP,
glass, etc. process equipment.
Hinged or Pinned & Slotted Joints
The hinged connection between the flanges provide lateral support while allowing only angular movement of the bellows. Pinned and slotted units provide angular and axial movements with lateral
support.
Gimbal Joints
Allows full angular freedom while limiting axial and lateral displacements.
Special pieces of specific or non standard size can be manufactured on request.
