Temperature: This glass can withstand high temperatures and has a superior thermal shock resistance, with a softening point of approximately 820°C. It can effectively work within a temperature range of -30°C to 450°C.
Bending Strength: The bending strength of this gauge glass is commendable, making it resilient against mechanical pressures.
Working Pressure: It can operate effectively under high pressures, making it suitable for heavy-duty industrial applications.
According to German Standards
The High Borosilicate Round Gauge Glass adheres to the rigorous German DIN 7080 standards, ensuring quality, safety, and reliability. The product’s compliance underscores its exceptional performance and durability. Furthermore, this Borosilicate Glass is tailored for compressive stress, withstanding up to 280 degrees Celsius. Ideal when high chemical resistance or elevated operating temperatures are required, it can withstand up to 315 degrees Celsius when toughened, and 400 degrees Celsius in its annealed form, with short-term maximums of 500 degrees Celsius. This glass is available in a variety of diameters up to 60mm thick, beyond the standard DIN sizes.
