Attributes of the Weapon:
The blade of the sword has been constructed in the lost Damascus Steel folding technique. The sword smith painstakingly stacks and forges individual layers of steel by hand. This
technique can be easily seen in the unique patterning of the steel on the blade. Traditionally this wood like grain pattern is known as the water mark. This blade features a subtle grain. This is a
more traditional approach to Damascus Steel. The water mark is allowed to be shown off in its own natural beauty.
The blade of the sword has been constructed in the lost Kobuse technique. The sword smith painstakingly stacks and forges individual layers of Damascus steel by hand.
The whole configuration and handwork is as like entirely as that belonging to former samurai.there are two kinds of material of the blade, outer is much soft , inner core steel is harder, so this
blade can resilient and able to absorb shocks, in a way, reduces the possibility of the blade breaking or bending. and for this special material the blade not only extremely sharp but also
tenacity.this katana is the one you want, you can know it from the specific of any part about this item,it is the top quality, and it made all by hand.
Blade: The blade of the sword has been hand forged using the ancient method of sword making. The visible undulating grain on the blade was resulted from
clay tempering and quenching during forging, it doesn't disappear for ever, and will be distinct along with time's past because it was burned from inner.
The curve of the blade has been created as a result of the different steel used on the Ha and Shinogi. When the blade is quenched the sword is covered with a clay solution,
except for the edge of the blade. The blade is then heated and quenched in water drawn from the spring of Longquan. Since the Ha cools much more quickly than the rest of the blade the molecules in
the steel expand and force the softer steel to fold back.
The back of blade looks like jet black due to whetting through old traditional Japanese manual abrasive technique. you know, this whetstone is rare, now most of swords
can't be whetted like this, because the cost is more expensive, and hardly any blade smith can make use of this abrasive technique. The blade has been hand polished with multiple grade stones, for
this you can see the clearly hamon in the blade. and this made the blade very smooth. This level of polishing is reserved for experts in the craft.
The visible tenuous grain on the blade was resulted from folded repeatedly during forging. and the edge of blade is using 4000 layer fold steel, which is resilient and able
to absorb shocks, in a way, reduces the possibility of the blade breaking or bending.
The whole configuration and handwork is as like entirely as that belonging to former samurai. The blade shaped Shinogi-zukuri without blood groove, featured Chu points
and Ihori blade backs, which has irregular wavy Boshi, and billowing hamon. Futsu shape of full tang has Haagari tang tips
Guard(Tsuba): High quality oxidized copper, simple but classic one.you can see it clearly of it's picture..
Saya: The scabbard (Saya) of the sword is wooden, Upper half of hardwood Saya wrapped with real shark skin, latter half of Saya lacquered in black with gloss finish. A silk Sageo
also rolled both sides of Kurikata to match wrappings on Tsuka.

side of the Tsuka. The tang of the sword is secured by two pegs (mekugi). The handle ends with a copper end cap (fuchi-kashira).
