HEAVY DUTY Heavy-Duty Seal Gasket formed from special nit rile rubber compound which will not degrade under temperature extremes, changes in restriction or vibration. Flexible outer edges allow deflection for easy insertion and removal in housings which have minimum clearance. Special Lugs hold filter securely in place to prevent vibration. Pleat Construction provides even pleat spacing to prevent bunching and ensures maximum element life. Spiral Glue Binding provides added pleat stability to optimize media effectiveness. Heavy-Duty End Cap Construction. Center portion specially reinforced to prevent constant flexing and potential failure during changes in intake pressure. More Filtration Surface is provided by using a special Polyurethane binder which does not extend into the path of air flow. As a pre-filter , it offers superior protection for higher efficiency final filters required for TM machinery applications.FAC Pulse air filter systems are designed to protect rotating TM machinery operating in high dust load environments where conventional static systems suffer from frequent service intervals resulting in reduced availability, frequent shutdowns , and high maintenance cost. The FAC Pulse system is self-cleaning during operation , allowing full continuous operation at low stable pressure drop even in extremely dusty environments as they may occur in some parts of the world (NAFA Tests) . The cleaning system is activated by pulsing as a function of the dust load and avoids sudden increases pressure drop , eliminating the need for unfiltered air bypas sing doors , which are common in static filter systems , and increases the machine's protection degree .Applicable for air intake , gas turbines , and large engines
