The new KUKA Diamond series Trunnion-Mount design locates the lower stem trunnion assembly within the confines of cast body & cap. In doing so, both the line pressure and media act upon all valve

The KUKA Diamond series seal design may be optionally supplied with special O-Ring seals for LPG/LNG gas services.
Our internal retainer ring with it's two(2) static seal O-Ring(L.D. & O.D.) provides a very effective third seal for the packing configuration.
2c. EMERGENCY SEAL DESIGN
This high pressure/temperature packing set consists of expanded graphite & braided carbon fiber. In conventional designs, excessive tightening of the packing gland can increase valve stem torque
and shorten packing life.
The KUKA Diamond series live-load design eliminates this concern while providing constant and effective sealing pressures, thereby precluding hardening and embrittlement of the packing materials.
2b. COMBINATION PACKING SET
The live-load disc spring provides continuous compression of the packing assembly and compensate for wear. This unique diamond design, lower required valve stem torque and increased product
performance under all operating conditions.
Use of live-load packing insures adequate spring loading of packing at all times. Excessive stem torque and packing deformation due to over- tightening of conventional packing glands are
eliminated!
The constant load provided by the disc springs compensate for normal wear-repair and maintenance costs are virtually eliminated!
2a. LIVE LOAD DISC SPRINGS
LIVE-LOAD STEM SEAL- This option provides premier valve stem sealing characteristics for adverse conditions of extreme pressure/temperature variations. Designed to meet the most stringent fugitive emissions regulations, the KUKA live-load design is comprised of an extra deep stuffing box, live-load disc springs, emergency seal parts and combination packing set.
2. LIVE LOAD STEM SEAL SYSTEM
ACTUATOR MOUNTING (ISO5211)-ALL KUKA Diamond series Ball Valves shall have an integrally cast(ISO) actuator mounting pad or a separate actuator mounting pad furnished. This feature eliminated the additional cost and time for users to purchase other mounting bracket!
