Male inlet threads are to B. S. P.All valves are marked according to the relevant specification standard, nominal diameter and nominal pressure.Valves are coated internally and externally with an approved non-toxic epoxy coating.Specification of Check valvesCheck valves are complying with BS 5153 standard. They are of the swing type, suitable for vertical and horizontal installation.Valves are double flanged. Flanges are faced and drilled to BS 4504 PN16 or PN25 or PN40 as indicated on the available list.Materials of construction(valve body, door and cover) for PN16 is of cast iron to BS 1452.Materials of construction for PN25 and over are of spheroidal cast iron to BS 1563.Valve seals are of gunmetal to BS 1400 and the hinge pin is of stainless steel carried in non-corrodable bearings.Access to the valve is through a flanged and bolted cover, which allows carrying out all necessary routine maintenance including re-facing of the seal without removing the valve from the line.All valves are marked according to the relevant specification, nominal diameter, nominal pressure and an arrow indicating the direction in which the valve will operate to allow flow to pass.These valves are coated internally and externally with an approved non-toxic epoxy coating.
