| Manufacturing Process |

Thin sheets of metallic plates are cut into strips and further corrugated and installed with spaces to achieve the segment like construction. The corrugation is done on the sheet metal
through hydraulic press. These corrugated or bend like portion functions like obstruction to the flow of gas where by the liquid particles high the corrugated portion and then falls
immediately to the liquid level due to gravity. The corrugation and alignment of mist eliminators plays a critical part in the separation process and the more you corrugate and create obstruction on the blades the more the separation happens. |

In some applications where by the velocity of the flow of gas is very high there by installing a mesh type mist eliminator will either tear of the mesh or will not help in any form of
separation. In such cases Vane type mist eliminator is used . Most common or simple way of explaining this is to assume a severe storm like atmosphere where rain water and air falls blows at such high speeds and you need to separate the air and the liquid from that application install a blade like vane in the direction of the storm and you can observe the other direction where by only the air flows resulting in blocking the liquid particles by the bended blades. In some cases a combination type mist eliminator is used where by large droplets are removed by the corrugated blades and finer droplets are further removed by mesh type mist eliminator. In the refinery or oil and gas production process removal of mist or moisture from the gas becomes a critical process. Generally gas tends to absorb the moisture so effective removal of moisture plays a vital role in the refinery application.
