The efficiency of the machine is of course enhanced by certain equipments, used to reduce handling time and to facilitate feeding of the tube into the machine or discharge it at the other end. We also undertake their designing manufacturing on specific request at extra cost.
All gears are single helical with lapped teeth. These gears are made from case hardened alloy steel. The electric motors are connected to the input shaft of the gear box by a flexible Vee-belt drive.
The drive to the rolls is taken from two totally enclosed gear boxes, each having three/five output shafts, which are connected to the rolls by universal propeller shafts joints.
The multi-cross roll Tube Straightening Machine is based on the rotary principle of straightening, which gives very high degree of straightness with minimum amount of marking on both the inside and outside of the tube. This multi-cross roll arrangement allows the tube to be rounded during straightening and allows the skin hardness to be imparted to the tube. The degree of hardness can be controlled by the amount of pressure applied.
