Two layer compositions based on PETF and BOPP films are widely spread on the market of frozen products. They have the following characteristics:

    Puncture resistance
    Frost resistance
    High seam strength (under low temperatures)
    Stability of ink layer to temperature changes (during storage from -20^oC and during thermosealing up to 180^oC)
    High productivity on vertical packing machines
    Economy                               

Packaging for frozen products should have high frost resistance. Most of frozen products have sharp edges, that is why a lot of attention is paid to puncture resistance. Moreover packaging should have barrier properties.

     Monofilms and two layer compositions are widely used for this kind of packaging.
