Black pepper oil is extracted from dried black peppercorns. As a pesticide active ingredient it is used for repelling mammalian pests such as dogs, cats, ground hogs, and squirrels. The first repellent end product containing this active ingredient is used in residential, non-food areas, such as attics, garages, and lawns. Oil of black pepper is commonly used in food, healing oils, and aromatherapy. Consequently, no adverse effects to humans or the environment are expected from the tiny amounts of this oil that will be used in pesticide products. Oil of black pepper, a pale yellow irritating liquid with a sharp peppery odor, is obtained by steam distillation of the unripe dried fruit (peppercorns) of the plant Piper nigrum (black pepper). Researchers have found that the oil contains many different components, including chemicals commonly found in plant oils. Oil of black pepper has many non-food uses, including in aromatherapy and as a component of therapeutic skin products.

Peppercorn is marketed whole or ground. Black pepper is used as a seasoning in food preparation to enhance food acceptability. Essential oils cleoresions extracted from black pepper are used in the preparation of piperazine elixir, a drug formulation for removal of round-worms in intestinal tract of human beings.Varieties of black pepper are classified according to their respective source of origin, most common are Batangas, Laguna, Quezon, Davao, Zamboanga or Basilan black pepper.
Black Pepper - (Piper Nigrum Linn) is a viny perrenial plant producing berry-like and aromatic pungent fruits. It is locally known as "pamienta" or "paminta" which belongs to Family Piperaceae. Leaves are thick, green with ovate shape. Flowers are white and minute which produce fruits borne on short, hanging spikes 4 t0 12 cm. long. Berry-like fruits are green when unripe and become red at maturity.Dried ripe berries become black and wrinkled constituting black pepper. Black pepper yield both black and white pepper. Black pepper is made by drying ripe or unripe fruits under the sun; white pepper by soaking, treating and removing outer skin of berry before drying.

Blends and Recipes: Chamomile essential oil blends well with: Bergamot, Geranium, Lavender, Lemon, Neroli, Rose, and Ylang-Ylang essential oils.Abdominal Cramp Massage Blend: Angelica essential oil 4 drops; 8 drops; 3 drops; Carrier oil (, for example) 1 ounce. Cautions: Though German 'Blue' Chamomile essential oil is considered non-toxic and non-irritating, always test a small amount first for sensitivity or allergic reaction. Due to the levels of the 'blue' chemicals, this oil MUST be kept to under 2% concentration or else it becomes a counter inflammatory - according to Dr's. Franchomme and Penoel - this may be an effect seen only in certain individuals. Others state it is safe under all circumstances. Test for sensitivity before extensive use.
Possible Indications: Can offer support to the following conditions: Skin disorders, sunburn, eczema, abscess, allergies, hives, gingivitis, stomatitis, cramps, flatulence, other digestive disorders, gallbladder problems, colic.
Possible Actions: Traditionally used as an anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic, carminative, stomachic, vulnerary, anti-bacterial.
Another area where German Chamomile can be of great help is the skin, as can Roman Chamomile - though the anti-inflammatory properties of the Blue variety are considered greater. The list is extensive: skin inflammations, acne, allergies, boils, burns, cuts, eczema, dermatitis, problems of the scalp, rashes, insect bites, infected wounds, skin impurities and more.
A few drops may be added to a glass of water and taken internally for gastrointestinal upset. For nervous tension or mild shock, rub a few drops into the solar plexus.
Chamomile Oil helps for burns or skin inflammation, traditional use suggests applying 1 or 2 drops of German Chamomile to the affected area.
Chamomile OIl relieves nervous tensions, migraine and all kinds of stress related disturbances.
