Market & Future Plans: The market for the Fragrance intermediates manufactured by the company offers tremendous scope for growth as it is not restricted to a specific region and is spread out
across the country. The Company plans to introduce some new products into the market and is also planning to tap the huge export potential of fragrance intermediates, especially to Multinational
Perfumery companies. The company is also offering its spare distillation capacities as also its chemical analysis capabilities to pharmaceutical and chemical units in and around Goa.
Plant & Machinery: The total installed capacity of the unit is 120 tons, the aggregate capacity being dependent on the product mix. Presently the company manufactures about 25 products. However one
of the significant aspects of the project is the flexibility in the plant & machinery which allows a number of new products to be added to the product range, depending upon the market demand, at
little or no extra cost.

The processes involved are batch processes, comprising Chemical Reactions, Solvent Extractions and Fractional distillations under vacuum. Environment, health and safety standards are integrated into every aspect of the Company's operations. The beauty of the technology is that even the By-products and Residues find applications in cheaper fragrance compounds and no solid waste is generated.
Crescent Fragrances Pvt. Ltd. manufactures high quality Aromas / Fragrance Ingredients and Resinoids used in Perfumery compounds for Agarbathis, Hanky and Roll-on Perfumes, Soaps (including Liquid soaps) , Detergents, Cosmetics, Hair Oils, Phenyls and also manufactures Flavour ingredients for Tobacco and Pan Masala Flavour compounds. The unit was set up in 1998 by its technocrat promoter Mr. Sudhaker Y. Keny (Chairman & Managing Director), who has an experience of nearly 45 years in the manufacturing of Aromas, having worked in Senior positions in Industrial Perfumes Ltd., a sister concern of Tata Oil Mills Co. (TOMCO) Ltd. The Company Management also includes Mr. Waman J. N. Danait (Executive Director), formerly CEO-Bombay First and GM Powai (Mumbai) Works-Larsen Toubro Ltd. , Mr. Vallabh R. Geraniol Natural is obtained by Purification and Fractional Distillation under vacuum of Natural Essential Oil, Jawa Citronella Oil(JCO) and is used in rosy accords but with other florals. Used in personal care, household, soaps, detergents and also fine perfumery.. Usage level upto 30%.
Geraniol Natural is obtained from Jawa Citronella Oil by Purification and Fractional Distillation under vacuum.
