Upon receiving a security alert from your vessel we will perform the following:

If your company does not have around the clock staffing, then the responsibility for responding to an alert will likely rest with the Company Security Officer (CSO). IMO and MPA regulations require each vessel to have a Ship Security Alert System (SSAS).
In the event of a security incident, the SSAS must be capable of transmitting an alarm signal ship-to-shore and be received by a competent authority, which may be the company or a service provider
