Generally,brown rice can be germinated by soaking the rice grains in warm water for about 18-20 hours. This will result in the birth of a sprout from the rice germ. Researches have shown that the process of germination substantially increases the amount of nutrients within the rice grain to prepare for the birth of a strong sprout. It has been found that there is a significant increase in nutritional substances from this process, for example, B Vitamins, magnesium, and food fiber increases by approx. 4 times compared to milled rice.

Muser Purple Germinated Rice is an ancient rice variety native to the northern region of Thailand. This special variety contains 3 times more Gamma-Oryzanol compared to white rice
and increases even much more after the germination process, as well as the increase in Gamma Amino-Butyric Acid (GABA), both containing anti-oxidative properties. This Muser Purple Germinated Rice
has been sprouted under suitable environment and has undergone the process of natural sterilization and heat treatment. This product is high in fiber and is suitable for people with type 2
diabetes. It can be prepared as desserts, for salads, mix with other rice for porridge, or cooked as sticky rice.
In addition to the increase in nutritional value,the process of germination will give brown rice a more palatable taste in terms of sweetness and a softer texture which means that it will be easier
to cook compared to conventional brown rice.
