It is a good modem/router because it can be used simply as a USB client device, you can connect via USB from your computer to E960, and simply use it in single user mode. It supports Voice calling (not all devices like this support voice), you connect a handset using an RJ11 jack to the E960. No disconnection and drop out from my testing, the connection is still going strong after at least 15 hours of usage, with periods of non-usage in between .
In Wifi Mode, supports WDS (Wireless Distribution System) so that you can extend your wireless coverage when you connect another wireless router to the E960. It supports Voice Calling and has 4 Lan
ports so you can connect via a Lan cable for computers without WIFI, the LED for the Wan connection changes colour according to the signal strength of the wireless broadband singal
E960 is a device which allows you to wireless cellular broadband connection over WIFI- which means that you use the wireless broadband SIM card from your service provider, stick it into E960 and more than one user can access internet, though WIFI their notebook/netbook/PCs. It also has phone line port to use as ADSL router!
