TRUE COLLECTOR'S ITEM - ONE OF A KIND!!!!  Extremely rare B61SX Heavy Duty Mack in excellent condition!!!  This head turning, showstopping classic is the perfect addition to anyone's vintagecollection. But even so this truck was built to work and not to be outdone while doing so - GVW is a whopping 70,000 lbs and speeds of over75 mph are nothing for this Big Dog! It stops on a dime with theheaviest of loads and drives great fully loaded or empty. The truck istotally rust free and is as solid as it was when built as new. Toaddress the business end of the truck first - the power is supplied bya Mack 300 + 350 horsepower turbo Maxidyne with optional cold airintake - this engine was rebuilt about 4 years ago. There is about 50to 60,000 miles on the engine & driveline since being rebuilt -gears are changed via a 18 speed overdrive quad box transmission whichwas also rebuilt at time of engine rebuild. This truck has no oil leaks- the motor is dry, as are the hydraulics. The rears are 1985 Mack58,000 Lbs. with highway gears. The brakes, drums and hardware areabout a year old as well as the rear 72,000 lbs. rated springs with newbronze bushings and beam. The chassis is triple rail and completelyclean and free of rust, flaking or any kind of spreading. The frontaxle is a 20,000 pound beam with new king pins, tie rod ends, and draglink. There is also has an updated Shepard power steering box andsystem with a new style steering column and steering wheel. Rubber is1200 X 24 radials - fronts are virgins and have 85% remaining = rearsare recently new caps. The truck has ice cold A/C in it - it blows hardand cold on the hottest of days. The firewall insulator is new, and thetruck has new style dry element air intake maxi brakes on both rearaxles with new anchor lock maxi cans. The electrical system is a 12volt negative ground with a Leese NeVille alternator. There is a newlow air warning buzzer system and a back up alarm. The truck has loadsof chrome inside and out....some of the dress ups include new chromeradiator cowls - polished stainless shutters - chrome front tow hooks -chrome grill guard and brackets - chrome fender mounted mirrors -chrome bumper end dog pedestal poles - chrome glove box door - chromeheater box cover - chrome ash tray and defroster ducts - chromeinterior door window frames chrome dual air horns - chrome door mirrorbrackets and mirrors - chrome snorkle air intake and stake/air intakestraps. As well as an AM/FM Stereo and very comfortable air seat. Thepaint is about two years old and is in excellent condition. The truckbody is a Bristol Donald steel slant gate demo/rock body - it has arecent T-1 steel floor and 3 paving chutes. There is a Pioneer powertarp system and a triple piston extremely heavy duty hydraulic hoist.Also included is a full cab protector and a heavy duty rear pintlehitch. The body is in excellent condition, as is this complete truck.With the 350 horsepower motor and the 18 speed overdrive quad boxtransmission this truck runs away from most of the late model dumpersaround.
