The solution: Protection of concrete using T-Grip & Stud- Grip linings.
T-Grip & Sure- Grip Plastic sheet is a T & V Ribbed membranes which is flat on one side, whilst the reverse side is provided with parallel T-& V Shaped ribs. These ribs are cast into concrete at
the new construction stage, thus isolating the concrete from the harmful effects of corrosive chemicals.
The T-Grip & Stud- Grip sheets are available with Polyethylene. these materials are successors that have served us so well for over 50 years.
The problem: Corrosion of concrete.
Concrete is attacked by Acids and Alkalis. Hydrogen sulphide attack in Sewer Pipes and Structures is a major problem, but the presence of Sulphates and Chlorides in soils creates aggressive saline
conditions that pose a threat to concrete foundations for all sorts of building works.
