The new Suzuki Swift M/T retails at an SRP of PhP 725,000 and comes in eight radical pearlescent and metallic colors: Pearl Supreme Red, Azure Gray Metallic, Silky Silver Metallic, Pearl White, Nocturne Blue Pearl, Blush Black Pearl, Metallic Ocean Light Blue and Sunlight Copper Metallic.
Safety is a priority too, thanks to an anti-lock braking system (ABS), while dual front airbags provide a reliable safety net. Passive safety features include a 3rd brake lamp, bright multi-reflector halogen headlights and fog lamps for excellent visibility, child-proof locks and four ELR seatbelts plus a lap belt for the center-rear passenger. All these combine to earn the Suzuki Swift, 4 out of 5 stars from Euro NCAPs collision tests.
A stylish all-rounder, the Swift has the same great features that owners before have loved. The in-dash CD, AM/FM, MP3 tuner can be controlled via the steering wheel, power windows, locks, side mirrors and keyless entry. There are smart means of storage like the grocery hook, large center console box and passenger seat under-tray while other useful bits and pieces like the cargo room lamp, seat height adjuster all come as standard.

Even with the relatively compact exterior, there is plenty of interior space. Headroom is abundant while theres plenty of legroom to go around for all occupants. With the rear seats up, 213 liters of cargo space is afforded and can further be stretched to a massive 562 liters with the back seats folded flat.
The Suzuki Swifts fun attitude in the corners is still handled by a great front/rear combination of independent MacPherson struts and a torsion beam, respectively. The Swift is kept at full contact with the road with large 15-inch alloy wheels shod with wide, grippy tires.
Inside, the theme continues with an efficient dashboard layout and easy to understand ergonomics. The well-shaped three spoke leather steering wheel and manual shifter certainly gives off a sporty aura, making you want to grip it tight and take the long route home. Seats have sporty upholstery that contours to the body well, providing plenty of support and suppleness while tri-cluster gauges, with a bezel around the speedometer, certainly continues the adrenalin rush.
The high-octane rush extends throughout the dynamism of the hatchback body. The same, great Swift shape that many have come to love is still there. The fusion of style and functionality at its best makes it a hot seller both here and abroad. The A-pillar is blacked out, blending in with the large windshield and windows while the tub roof has become a favorite for Union Jack lovers.
For the driver, acceleration will definitely feel sharper and more direct, helping deliver power and fuel economy, giving a more engaging drive to those who want it. Suzukis Variable Valve Timing system ( ) plays with the camshaft and valves to maximize combustion and fuel efficiency when you need it as well as throttle response and power as you demand it.
The middle one sends ABS-regulated hydraulic pressure to the brakes, while the left one is a new addition, which, together with the 5-speed shifter, provides the driver full control over the new manual transmission.
Open the door and underneath the steering wheel there are now three pedals that stick out: the one on the right sends fuel and air to the potent, 110 horsepower four cylinder that became a favorite amongst the inspired tuner crowd.

Welcome the new Suzuki Swift M/T. Unveiled at the 2nd Annual Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), Suzuki gives the young, and the young-at-heart, the command over the gears at their disposal.
After 3 years of providing Suzukis brand of fun into the subcompact hatch market, the manual version was what fans of the Swift have been clamoring for. And Suzuki listened.
