The WBD-212 can be powered by either 5 V DC power supply or 48 Vpower-over-ethernet, allowing this board to be integrated into avariety of indoor or outdoor enclosures. In addition, the WBD-212product features push-button reset and LEDs to indicate power, LAN andWLAN connectivity.
The WBD-212 can be used as a dual-band AP, repeater,point-to-multipoint bridge, as well as many other configurations,making this product a universal wireless solution. In addition, theWBD-212 ships pre-loaded with the Wili-S software suite acarrier-grade platform with an array of industry-leading security andmanagement features not present on the market today.
Additionally, the on-board radios are Atheros-based, providingchannel splitting capability (full, quarter, and half-sized channels)for throughput optimization, and both radios are output-poweradjustable.
The WBD-212 is a dual-radio, mixed-frequency CPU board capable ofintegrating into a variety of applications, both indoor and outdoor.The unique on-board design of this dual-radio product provides for easeof installation without the need for purchasing additional mini-PCIradio cards. The mixed-frequency design (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) allows foreach radio to operate interdependently based on the desired application.
