The Compix Media Video CG LCG-5000 series provide broadcast quality Composite and Y/C (s-video)connections. The LCG-5000 has an additional port to add an optional SDI output device at the time of purchase or at a later time. The SDI output is SMPTE 259M standard compatible (10 bit 4:2:2 SDI). The LCG-5000 can work with NTSC or PAL video signals. The LCG-5000 has multilingual capability by using the MS XP operating system language options. The Compix Media Video CG LCG5000 system provides broadcast quality, live on-air' capabilities and operational logic. It allows users to instantly insert characters over a live video feed. The VideoCG LCG5000 can also be used in a post production capacity, inserting characters over edited video streams. The LCG 5000 features full genlock circuitry with input synchronization. With a built-in downstream linear alpha keyer and 256 transparency levels; the VideoCG LCG5000 can be inserted into both systems with and without switchers. Titles can be snapped instantly on to a video feed (signal), even without an expensive video switcher. The LCG-5000 is well suited for bulletin board applications as well as digital signage requirements. The LCG-5000 series is available in either a compact desktop case or a industrial strength rack mount case that includes a 250MB Zip drive in addition to the high capacity HDD and the CDR drive. These models feature the Compix Media Plus board (Compix Media Character Generator Hardware). All Compix Media Video CG systems come complete with a high quality and high capacity computer platform so that you can insert the character generator into your system and begin work immediately. There are no set up hassles or computer compatibility worries. The systems have been fully assembled, configured, and tested before they leave the factory.The LCG 5000 series comes complete with a keyboard and a mouse. You only need a SVGA monitor to begin using the LCG-4000. The systems come standard with the following software:
