DVI Interface: The MK8-I features a DVI interface that allows the unit, and various other devices, to be trunk-mounted. This eliminates the need for complicated interior wiring and reduces the need
for additional interior space when installing additional peripherals. The DVI interface offers a 100% digital signal that is far superior to analog. This interface also allows for the connection of
up to two (2) display sources, which is vital when simultaneously monitoring multiple information sources.
Rugged Features: When accessing the value of an in-vehicle computer, environmental factors and system longevity are major considerations. MK8-I's rugged features allow for operation in the harshest
environments. Certified to MIL-STD 810F and IP54 for resistance to extreme temperatures, shock, water, dust, and heavy vibration.
MIL-STD-810F and IP54 System Compliance: A rugged notebook must be equipped to operate under a variety of extreme conditions: That's why our MK8-I is certified to MIL-STD 810 and IP54 Standards.
This standard ensures it is resistant to rain, shock, humidity, vibration, salt fog, altitude and extreme temperatures. It is also IP54 certified, making them dust and water resistant by industrial
standards.
