Solar Panels Two-way Power Flow Installations(GRID-TIED)

Grid-tied systems are similar to hybrid UPS set-ups that have multiple energy input sources.

Grid-tied systems are similar to hybrid UPS set-ups that have multiple energy input sources. However, as a costeffective
and an environmental advantage the system can be designed to feed energy back into the national grid when
it is not in use or required by the facility. A special two-way inverter and reverse flow meter, allow for energy to travel
in either direction and the relevant charges and credits are calculated according to which way the current passes. The
capital cost of the installation is rapidly amortized by the potential income from energy sold to the national grid and the
reduction in electricity supply costs. In addition, the system contributes to a reduced load on the national power generating
capacity.
