The Catch Sensor measures the fill rate of the trawl and indicates when the cod end is full, so the catch can be hauled in, thus eliminating problems associated with overfilling the trawl. This sensor dramatically increases fishing efficiency. Up to four of these Catch Sensors can be used on the cod end. Compatible with Simrad, WESMAR and Furuno/Imagenex trawl sonars. FeaturesThe Marport Catch Sensor transmits an ON message and simultaneously measures and transmits changes in the nets mesh size to the operator. As the net expands due to the accumulation of fish, the sensor transmits a control signal to the bridge display. Continually monitors the optimum catch volume in relation to the nets capacity. Has a multi-axis inclinometre option. This innovative option will instantly display any changes or potential areas of concern regarding the net, such as twisting and tangling, as well as the sinking and rising rate of the net.
